Hello ! First of all, thank you for taking interest and checking this page out. I've been roleplaying for over 17 years now across multiple platforms, some of which don't even exist anymore. Currently, I have a full time job and it consumes all of my routine. For that reason, all of my blogs operate on an illegally low activity basis.Getting this out of the way: I'm severely introverted. I keep my circle out of character strict and don't quite feel comfortable sharing my Discord tag until we've interacted for some time on Tumblr beforehand.

You must be of age to interact/follow and over 21 to propose shipping your character romantically or sexually with mine.Bear in mind that Kaveh has been shown to have a rather tragic backstory and that's made him into someone who struggles with quite a few conditions.Despite not planning to have my writing focus on the heavy of it, beware that this account won't shy away and may touch sensitive themes, such as but not limited to:

This blog and chacterization were created before Kaveh's release into the game, therefore some aspects will diverge from canon material.On top of that, I enjoy giving characters my own spin based on headcanons and motifs/concepts I think suit them. While I'll respect canon material, I won't try to make my portrayal its carbon copy.

I love shipping, but I do not enjoy living for ships. If you wish to work out a close relationship with my muse, I ask that not every interaction be about their relationship or it will, frankly, bore me. There's only so much kissing I can write before I feel like I'm writing the same things over and over again, and that's no fun.I'm also a big fan of slow burns. <3

Background

 family & childhood —  An only child, born into a small and well caring family, Kaveh has never gone a day without the support of his parents when it came to the pursuit of his education and dreams. Were it in his mom's study room, watching her sketch ideas from thin air, or in the backyard, watching the stars with his father, he knew there was no place like home.His mother was a scholar from Sumeru, a member of the Kshahrewar. Though her dedication to her studies was not milder than that of her peers, it was considerably less radical. The balance she kept between the life in and out of the Akademiya was an important element that helped shape Kaveh's own views about the matter.His father, on the other hand, was lovely man with quite a lot on his plate; a former member of the Rtawahist and a dreamer, Kaveh would come to grow similar to him in more aspects than simply his physical appearance.

Akademiya

 kshahrewar & ambitions —  Kaveh's unrelenting dedication to his goals is unquestionable. Being accepted into the Akademiya was just the first step for something he deems of greater value: he aspires to confront the stark coldness of the Darshans with a sense of humanity, to have his works present a mixture of technical knowledge and personality — with an artistic touch as well.The construction of the Palace of Alcazarzaray was an idea that gained life before Kaveh made it into the Akademiya, having seen his mother work on her blueprints and speak on and on about her inspirations stoked the flames within himself. His biggest work showcases opulence and beauty by employing the expertise found in the Kshahrewar to circumvent the challenging terrains of the Lokapala Jungle, an area that wouldn't sustain such a project without arduous planning and many, many unforeseen circumstances during the time it was raised from the ground.

past

 previous work practices —  After the completion of the Palace of Alcazarzaray and at the beginning of his financial dip, Kaveh exhausted his resources trying to maintain his routines for the sake of honoring the contracts he'd recently made with eager clients and as an attempt to charm his prospects into accepting his services.The strategy worked, but it also meant Kaveh, who had already sacrificed so much of what he had, would need to feed into the cycle of ceding even more for a new chance at rising back to his feet.He'd find, then, that time, something he thought himself so full of, would be one of the most inconveniently finite resources he'd ever have to work with.In the end, trying to juggle multiple clients at once for contracts which Mora he'd only see at the end of his projects took a toll on him. Kaveh's new reality pulled him mercilessly to the present, with no room to dare a glance at the future — when his stomach growled in the afternoon, it didn't care if his pouch would only sag with the weigh of coins in a random morning of the next week. Pausing his activities as an architect was inevitable.

Present

 current work practices —  Only well after being taken into Alhaitham's house did Kaveh ease into the idea of picking up from where he'd left in his career. With food on the table and a stable roof over his head, his worries were redirected to more manageable problems, such as announcing he was back in business and squeezing himself into relevance again.As time passed, he was able to rent a small studio in the outskirts of Treasure Street, near Kalimi Exchange, and it's where he currently takes in clients. And because it's located in such a lively and well known point in the city, a considerable part of Kaveh's income goes to the costs of ensuring his stay there.Now, though Kaveh's still not in the prestigious position many believe him to be, he can at least be more critical of what works he'll sign and what type of client he's willing to accept.

Both are aware of the taboo aspects of the other that are not to be addressed under any circumstances.

 childhood —  Even from a young age, Kaveh looked up to his mom for her dedication to anything she set her mind to. A strong woman who was not afraid of asserting herself as an expert in her field, Kaveh had a particular admiration for the ease with which she instructed juniors who knocked on their door seeking orientation. Regardless of Darshan, she'd share any knowledge in her possession and would offer effective study routines, should they choose to come to her more often for help.Her aptitude to instruct and lead young scholars worked in Kaveh's favor. He'd sit in her study and inquire every now and then about the things that did not make immediate sense to the mind of a kid. As result, she would patiently explain, over and over again until he understood, and even let her child doodle his conclusions on the corners of her blueprints.

 childhood —  Kaveh inherited the more idealistic and dreamy views of the world from his father. He would tell the young boy stories of the stars and sing lullabies about the celestial bodies overseeing their future. He'd remind Kaveh of how everything in Teyvat had a right to be there, including him.From technology, architecture and aesthetics, the man was an avid supporter of his kid's interests. Kaveh's mom would, oftentimes, go so far as to playfully imply her husband had been keeping their boy's brilliant future a secret from them. grief —  With his dad's passing after the Interdarshan Championship, Kaveh unwittingly clung harder to the teachings he'd received from him. It was, then, on his hands to honor the legacy of his father's good natured spirit, but to also use it as means to atone himself for what happened.

 love & sexuality —  Kaveh is bisexual.Romance can happen without sex, but not the other way around. One night stands are extremely rare, but they still must follow a particular recipe: the flirting stage has got to be thorough, nothing rushed, with a good talk before it becomes physical.When it comes to roles, Kaveh claims to be a switch. He prefers to top and service, and is primarily attracted to fem-leaning partners. Sex with him is almost tantric.Foreplay is a must and where most of his energy goes. He enjoys making use of essential oils, incenses, as well as giving special massages. His attention will exclusively fall on his partner, and he may, at times, even neglect himself on the process.Despite his stated preferences, it's difficult for Kaveh to feel at ease when he's put on the receiving end of things.

Heavy breathing/panting with the occasional soft moans are about the most a partner can draw out of him and it is no direct translation of the amount of pleasure he’s receiving.Fact is: He holds himself back from a lot and, admittedly, it chips at his spontaneity and focus. Granted, it is a direct consequence of what he thinks he does and doesn’t deserve in general, as well as concern for how he’s performing and presenting himself.Unless he’s entirely comfortable with the other person, the chances of it becoming (even more) embarrassing for him are, frankly, pretty high.

 fees & modus operandi —  Even with his status as the Light of the Kshahrewar and renown around Sumeru, Kaveh still has little idea of how much his work is worth. He teeters the line between conceit and fear of charging unfair fees, and is often in a position where he undersells his services.It's uncommon for him to accept commissions he doesn't resonate with to some level, be it due to his principles or as means to challenge his own skills.He will also favor having control over every aspect of his work, from leading the construction, to exterior and interior design. It has to be perfect in his eyes, and since not everyone understands beauty as something as objective as he does, this stance not so rarely puts him at odds with his clients. sentiments about his career — Every draft, every blueprint, every plan is done with extreme care to detail and meaning. Kaveh is deeply passionate about what he does, to the point it causes him real distress to work on anything he deems illogical. He's well aware that his attachment to concepts and performance are the source of all the stress he puts himself under. At the same time, so he thinks, what will be left of what he does if he abandons either of these elements? Building for the sake of putting a brick over the other and nothing else has no value for him, and what grants him equal parts pain and joy would sooner grant him nothing.

Studies

 graduation — Graduating gave Kaveh high expectations for the life outside the Akademiya. Though his years in there weren't solely made of theories, being under tutorship of seniors and professors alike took most of the weight of creation off his shoulders. There, trial and error was not only permitted, but an inherent privilege granted by the process of learning.Out of the classroom, however, life was vastly different. The ideas that pushed him to graduate with honors were met with skeptical eyes, and frustration began to build inside him. As it turned out, Sumeru was fairly conservative and resistant to changes.It was in Kaveh's hands to slowly chip away at it if he truly wanted to make a name for himself out there. present practices — To think studying ends once one can hold a diploma of their own is the same as ripping the document right there and forfeiting any rights to the trade. Knowledge is an ever shifting, ever expanding resource, like the universe itself. And Kaveh wouldn't think himself arrogant enough to believe he's learned it all.New books are always welcome on his desk and shelves; listening to juniors, as well. New minds offer new insights, and the world is a joint effort.

 hair —  Sandy blonde and wavy, it reaches a few inches past his shoulders. It’s cut in layers, which adds quite a nice volume when it isn’t tamed by his pins and braids.Kaveh takes good care of his appearance and his hair is no exception — it’s smooth and smells nice, hardly ever is it tangled. If he put another hour to his routine, it could be styled to form loose yet heavy curls. eyes —  Almond shaped, upturned. Of vibrant red, framed by long lashes, a shade or two darker than his hair.build —  Lean, a bit on the inverted triangle side. There are no prominent muscles, most of everything looks rather smooth, rather than defined. Kaveh has been underweight before and, up to these days, he still has to be mindful of his habits lest he falls into that category again. attire & accessories —  Kaveh's prone to overheating, he favours light tones and fabric in his attire choices. He will avoid multiple layers whenever he can, unless he's planning to go on a field trip or truly needs to sport a more elaborate look.Earrings are a favorite with no preference for size and type; rings and bracelets are a no-no, as well as anything that needs to be constantly adjusted around his hands/wrists. Necklaces are worn on occasion, never excessive in weight. miscellaneous —  Kaveh has a beauty mark on the lower corner of his mouth, and a few other marks littering his chest, shoulders, back and neck.
